On August 24, 2020 at about 10:22 p.m., NOPD Second District Officers responded to a call of aggravated battery by shooting at the instersections of Jeanette and Joliet Streets. Officers located two adult male victims down suffering from multiple gun shot wounds. Both men were declared dead at the scene.
