Margie Eggerson Shorty's body was found on August 13, 2017 inside a house in the 1300 block of Reynes Street. Detectives were called to the house around 2 pm after a relative saw Margie motionless in the hallway with multiple puncture wounds to her body. Margie was pronounced dead at the scene.
