On November 21, 2016 around midnight NOPD responded to multiple shots fired and found Kharen Chapman in the middle of the street suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The shooting started in the 3200 block of Palmyra St. and ended in the 300 block of South Jefferson Davis Parkway.
