On January 1, 2016 Joshua was hit at the corner of Decatur and Dumaine Streets by a black sedan. His body was dragged more than 6 miles from the French Quarter to the Westbank. His body was found near Algiers by a motorist who was driving on U. S. 90B just before the General DeGaulle Drive off ramp.
