On Thursday, December 20, 2018, NOPD received a call of an aggravated battery by shooting in the 7600 block of Briarwood Drive.  Upon arrival, officers discovered Donald Adams, Jr. suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.  He was pronounced deceased on the scene by EMS.
