On December 25, 2015 at approximately 9:50 pm Christopher was found shot to death in his car at the corner of Broad and Bienville. During the course of the investigation, detectives identified a vehicle of interest described as a dark-colored car traveling at a high rate of speed from North Broad St. to Orleans Avenue, where it turned on North Galvez.
